Welcome & thank you for visiting my offer page. Let me introduce myself. My name is Brenda and I am the owner and resident glass artist of LAVA. I am an interior decorator and teacher, life partner, mother, pet owner and all round busy person. I love life and give 100% in everything I do. LAVA is my passion and I have created a dynamic, exclusive yet inclusive art space for 'Art that Flows'…….. Glass! Being passionate about my art and glass I love sharing and teaching my skills. As a way of sharing this passion I have put together a wide range of courses and workshops for individuals and small groups. This offers personalised and personable tuition. These can be seen on the LAVA website http://lavaartglass.com.au/page/courses—workshops We all have life stories and skills and I find that as a medium glass is, simply put, very rewarding. It is alive, tactile and has a life of its own. Colour, texture and energy emit form glass and from whatever creative or artistic preference or background you come from, there is something for everyone with glass. When not creating I love spending time with my life partner, running or paddling and enjoying my inspiration, the South West. I love the beach, the sun, the sand and lazy days enjoying life! I have three adult children who are my constant light and inspiration.

Now about the Gallery! The LAVA Gallery exhibits artwork exclusively made by Western Australian Glass Artists, my passion is to celebrate Western Australian Glass. The art work and gifts created by me are made on the same premises of the LAVA Gallery.. LAVA exhibits and selling original, one off “arty gifts” and art pieces for your home. All the glass is of a wide range of techniques, styles and price range. Not to forget the Studio! Workshops and courses are run at the LAVA studio on the premises As the studio is a working Studio I also take on commissions in all areas of Art Glass. Architectural Art Glass services, incorporating design consultation of stained glass and leadlight. The studio has everything needed to create, teach and inspire an art glass journey!
